The oldest student city

Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands, although you can’t tell from its inhabitants. Nijmegen now has more than 20,000 students, making it a true student city.

You can find over 400 catering establishments in Nijmegen, of which over 150 are pubs and cafés. With so many different places, there’s a pub or café to suit everyone. As Nijmegen is a real student city, this means lots of catering establishments focus on students. There are events especially for students organised almost every day of the week.

Lots to enjoy

To fully enjoy Nijmegen’s nightlife, you don’t want to be travelling back and forth all the time. How good would having your own room in Nijmegen be? You can respond to available rooms and houses every Wednesday at 12.00 pm at SSH&. You can respond until the following Wednesday at 11.00 am. Then a system determines who gets the room. This is done completely automatically and randomly, so it’s fair.
