Have you followed all the steps above but remain dissatisfied with how your complaint has been handled? Then you can submit your complaint to the Complaints Committee for Housing Corporations in the Nijmegen region or to the Rent Tribunal. Where you submit your complaint depends on the subject.

Complaints regarding the following subjects can be submitted to the Rent Tribunal: rent, maintenance, service charges, or costs for utilities. The website describes how to initiate the procedure with the Rent Tribunal.

Complaints about other subjects can be submitted to the Complaints Committee for Housing Corporations in the Nijmegen region. SSH& is affiliated with this independent complaints committee, along with six other housing corporations. You can submit your complaint using the form on the complaints committee’s website. The procedure is free of charge. The complaints committee operates based on a set of regulations.

Each year, the complaints committee publishes an annual report. In this report, you can read all about the composition of the committee, its working methods, and the complaints handled. The 2024 annual report of the complaints committee shows that two complaints were submitted concerning SSH&. One complaint was withdrawn by the tenant before the hearing took place. The second complaint was declared unfounded by the complaints committee.
